What is Blackboard?
Douglas College provides Blackboard, and other integrated educational technologies, for faculty and students to teach and learn online. The Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS) enables faculty and students to engage with course content, submit/grade assignments, participate in discussions, collaborate in groups, watch/listen to media, and much more.

Getting Help
Technical issue or general assistance, contact the CEIT Service Desk.
Include the following details: your employee ID, course ID, detailed description with error messages or screen captures for troubleshooting purposes.The course ID in Blackboard consists of a subject code, a subject number, a section number, a CRN (Course Registration Number), a combination of year and a term code (10: winter, 20: summer, 30: fall). Here is an example: HIST-1100-001_31234_201710.
